Job Title: Regional Project Manager
About the JobThe Regional Project Manager leads capital projects across multiple plant locations, driving project planning, execution, and successful delivery while ensuring safety, compliance, cost control, and operational excellence.
- Manage regional capital projects from concept through implementation and closeout.
- Develop project scopes, feasibility studies, budgets, ROI analyses, and execution plans.
- Lead project stakeholders, engineering resources, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, and performance, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to engineering, safety, and project management standards.
- Prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, and coordinate procurement of equipment and services.
- Support plant outages, shutdowns, maintenance initiatives, and operational improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, MSHA requirements, and company policies while promoting continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management, engineering, or related experience within mining, aggregates, manufacturing, or other heavy industrial environments.
- Experience managing capital projects, budgets, schedules, contractors, and project execution activities.
- Ability to perform project financial evaluations, including cost estimating and ROI analysis.
Preferred Qualifications - Strong project management, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing external contractors, engineering consultants, and cross-functional project teams.
- Knowledge of construction management, engineering standards, and industrial safety practices.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance requirements and MSHA regulations.
- Ability to develop operational training processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
