Summary Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Pay Range: The starting rate for this position is: $94,600 - $171,500

Position Summary
The Regional Product Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth of assigned Active Ingredients portfolios across the Americas through portfolio management, product marketing, pricing strategy, and lifecycle management. Acting as the regional product management representative for the portfolio, this role translates global portfolio strategies into regional execution and collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Operations to maximize business performance. The position serves as the regional expert on portfolio performance, product positioning, pricing, competitive dynamics and commercialization activities while ensuring alignment with global portfolio objectives. It partners with regional marketing managers on activities such as trade shows and broader customer engagement programs.

Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Pricing
  • Develop and maintain product positioning, value propositions and portfolio messaging for the Americas region
  • Drive regional pricing strategy, including value-based pricing, corridor management, and pricing actions to maximize profitability and value capture
  • Conduct value-driver analyses and competitive positioning assessments; recommend actions to strengthen market differentiation
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify growth opportunities and support commercialization initiatives

Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
  • Manage regional performance of assigned product portfolios, including revenue, profitability and growth objectives
  • Develop and execute portfolio strategies aligned with global business priorities, covering innovation, positioning, optimization, rationalization and phase-out decisions
  • Lead product launch activities, including business case development, value-based pricing, launch checklists, and post-launch performance monitoring
  • Support innovation projects (including I2P) through market assessments, business case preparation and commercialization planning

Business Planning, Data & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Provide input into the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including short- and mid-term volume/sales planning and forecast accuracy
  • Collaborate with global Product Management and regional stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Regulatory, R&D, Operations, EHSQ and Commercial teams to ensure effective portfolio execution and support corrective actions for product-related issues
  • Provide portfolio recommendations and business insights to regional and global leadership teams
  • Lead or support selected cross-functional projects (e.g. digitalization initiatives)

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Strategic Marketing, Business Management, or related commercial roles
  • Experience within specialty chemicals, personal care ingredients, cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceutical ingredients, or related industries
  • Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle management, pricing, commercialization and portfolio management
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and financial acumen
  • Proficiency with SAP (or equivalent ERP), CRM platforms, Power BI and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence in a matrix organization
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
