Responsibilities

  • Partner with Practice and Site Leaders to identify performance gaps, implement action plans, and sustain improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and corporate responsibility standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Practice Directors and site-level leaders.
  • Act as a regional ambassador to clients, ensuring trust, transparency, and responsiveness.
  • Drive operational innovation and best-practice sharing across practices.

Our Core Values People First, Last Always All for One & One for All Your Responsibility Extends Beyond Your Job Description Developing You Makes Us Better Don’t Accept Complacency – The Status Quo Isn’t Good Enough Position Overview The Regional Practice Director drives both short- and long-term organizational growth by influencing revenue cycle performance across a portfolio of ambulatory and physician practices within an assigned region. This role provides hands-on regional leadership focused on standardization, continuous improvement, and alignment to revenue cycle best practices in partnership with clinical, revenue cycle, and technology stakeholders. This position requires a strong onsite presence (approximately 75% travel) within the Minneapolis, MN region to support regional practices and ensure consistent execution and performance outcomes. Key Responsibilities Influence practice leaders and administrators on day-to-day revenue cycle performance to achieve financial and operational targets Drive standardization of workflows and operating practices across regional practices to align with enterprise revenue cycle best-practice metrics Partner with Revenue Cycle, Clinical, and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements that reduce variation and improve outcomes Analyze performance data and trends to proactively identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across the region Guide adoption and consistent utilization of enterprise tools, policies, and workflows Escalate systemic issues and partner on solutions that improve performance, efficiency, and partner satisfaction Ensure sustained improvement through ongoing performance monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous optimization Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field) 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle, physician practice operations, or ambulatory services Strong understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle performance within physician/practice settings (front-end through back-end) Proven ability to influence leaders and drive change across multiple sites or regions Experience leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and performance improvement Demonstrated success in leading process standardization and operational transformation initiatives Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Travel Requirements Approximately 75% onsite travel within the Minneapolis, MN region required to support regional practices
