Regional Planner Support (Journeyman)

Position: Regional Planner Support (Journeyman)

Location: MacDill AFB

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI

Outcomes:The Regional Planner is expected to achieve the following outcomes:

§ Complete tasks assign prior to the date requested by Gemini supervisors and customer counterparts

§ Deliver products and services that lead to an Exceptional rating in Government Contractor Performance Assessment Reports.

Education: BA/BS

Responsibilities:

The position will demonstrate expertise with all aspects of the deliberate and contingency planning processes. This includes the application of the JOPP and Joint Operation Planning and Execution System during the development and maintenance of USCENTCOM plans. Contractor Subject matter expert must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort; a demonstrated knowledge of DOD organizations and agencies, experience with operations supporting a Combatant Command Headquarters, Service Component Staff, or other government agency equivalent headquarters, and experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team.

The position will serve as a Branch SME for DoD-wide reviews of HQ USCENTCOM campaign and contingency plans. During crises, provides CWMD expertise to the Operational Planning Teams, the Joint Planning Board, and the Joint Operations Center (JOC) for planning and execution of all CWMD missions. USCENTCOM SME for CWMD policy, strategy, and planning. Coordinates, develops and presents CWMD plans briefings up to, and including, the Commander, USCENTCOM. Supports development of the Regional CWMD Campaign Plan; integrates CWMD OAI into the Regional CWMD Campaign Plan and relevant Contingency plans, to include highly classified compartmented plans. Frequently serves as a point of contact for high visibility exercises, directing and supporting planning, coordination, and execution.

The position will provide technical support in the development of overall joint system concepts, designs and technical approaches to meet broadly stated requirements and objectives. The position performs top-level system analysis, perform trade studies, perform technical optimizations, and develop high-level designs. The position must prepare, staff, and deliver complex operations or technical documentation, conduct reviews, and deliver presentations. The position will participate in all phases of joint system review and development.

This position (X0003) supports paragraph(s) 3.2.1.3 of the Performance Work Statement.

Qualifications:
