Are you a dynamic P&C leader ready to make a tangible impact? As our Regional People & Culture Business Partner, you'll be the strategic force driving our P&C initiatives across a multi-location region, based out of our San Diego, CA office. This role has full P&C accountability across multiple locations within the region, including overseeing operations across California, Colorado, and other markets as the region grows. Working hand-in-hand with regional and site-level leadership and our Senior People & Culture Manager, you'll design, implement, and champion programs that not only propel our business forward but also build a thriving, resilient organizational culture. This isn't just about P&C; it's about shaping the employee experience, fostering growth, and ensuring Falck continues to be a place where our heroes can excel.
Compensation: $120,000 (annual)

Your Impactful Contributions (Essential Functions):
As a Regional People & Culture Business Partner, you will be pivotal in:
• Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to regional and site-level leadership, aligning people resources directly with critical business objectives and optimizing workforce capabilities across all locations in the region.
• Employee & Labor Relations Champion: Collaboratively manage and resolve complex employee relations and labor relations matters across all regional locations, maintaining positive employee relations.
• Driving Change & Growth: Oversee the change management process across the region and advocate for ownership of organizational changes. You'll coordinate with National P&C resources (functional and shared services) to support regional leadership and workforce needs in alignment with company-wide business objectives. You'll also ensure national policies and practices are consistently implemented and maintained across all regional locations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable state laws.
• Innovation Catalyst: Bring fresh, creative, and innovative solutions to pressing business challenges, constantly seeking ways to enhance our operations.
• Architect of Employee Experience: Curate and facilitate an exceptional employee experience during the employee lifecycle. This includes actively supporting recruitment, seamlessly onboarding new team members, nurturing a high-performance culture, championing engaging programs, and professionally exiting employees from the company.
• Talent Developer: Provide robust training and development support, empowering our teams to grow their skills and careers.
• Future-Focused Planner: Work directly with regional and site-level leaders to plan for future workforce needs across the region.
• Collaborative Team Player: Actively participate in National P&C teams and contribute to special projects as needed.
What You Bring (Qualifications):
We are seeking a seasoned P&C professional who possesses the following qualifications:
• Proven Experience:
o A minimum of 5 years of impactful experience as a People & Culture Business Partner, or 7 years as a P&C Generalist, with demonstrated experience supporting multiple locations or a regional portfolio.
o At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements and labor relations.
o A demonstrated track record of success in consulting with leaders and coaching for peak performance.
o Maintains structured administrative systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of information.
o Proactively identifies gaps or inefficiencies in administrative processes and suggests streamlined solutions that improve turnaround times, reduce errors, and support scalable operations.
• Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Savvy:
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated track record of working effectively with a diverse range of individuals, teams, leaders and external customers.
o Excellent ability to communicate brilliantly and work collaboratively across departments, locations and as a vital national P&C team member, with the ability to influence across a geographically dispersed region.
• Proven ability to effectively navigate complex union matters and personalities.
o Agility & Reliability:
o Highly dependable, with strong organizational skills and a demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
o A clear track record in flexing and adapting proactively to rapidly changing priorities.
o The capacity to work effectively individually as well as in a team.
o Technical Proficiency: Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Suite are essential.
Education & Certifications:
The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:
• A Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Business/Human Resources or a closely related field.
• HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly preferred.
