Regional Operations Manager - Fort Worth, TX

Job Summary
The RegionalOperations Manager is responsible for supporting and enforcing all safety,regulatory, and company policies and procedures while ensuring operationalexcellence across the assigned region. This role drives the efficientutilization of cylinder, vehicle, plant, and facility assets while optimizingoperating costs related to production, distribution, and cylinder maintenance.

The positionprovides operational leadership to regional branch locations, ensuringcompliance, efficiency, service excellence, and continuous improvement. TheRegional Operations Manager also evaluates, recommends, and oversees regionalcapital investments to support business growth and operational effectiveness.

SalaryRange: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

Key Responsibilities
Safety,Compliance & Quality
Ensure all branch locations operate in compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:
Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Department of Transportation (DOT)
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
Promote and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, production, and distribution through training, communication, audits, corrective actions, and accountability.
Conduct thorough accident and incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and drive safety performance through both leading and lagging safety indicators.

OperationsLeadership
Ensure branch operations consistently meet customer service, quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.
Develop and monitor staffing levels and productivity metrics to ensure efficient operations.
Partner with leadership teams to support customer service and sales objectives by maintaining high productivity, cost control, and employee engagement.
Provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives across the region.
Support and lead the operational integration of acquisitions within the assigned region.

Training& Employee Development
Train, coach, and mentor Customer Service Managers and branch employees on safety, production, distribution, and operational best practices.
Foster employee development and help team members achieve their full potential.
Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.

AssetManagement & Utilization
Ensure efficient utilization of cylinder assets by monitoring inventory levels and controlling stock throughout the region.
Address cylinder demand requirements through inventory reallocation or capital investment recommendations.
Optimize utilization of vehicle fleets and production equipment by evaluating distribution routes, production volumes, and operational workflows.
Recommend and support improvements, consolidations, or investments that enhance efficiency and asset utilization.
Evaluate and recommend capital investments related to:
Cylinders
Vehicles
Forklifts
Production equipment
Facilities and infrastructure

Facility& Equipment Maintenance
Oversee maintenance programs for vehicles, production equipment, facilities, and buildings throughout the region.
Ensure assets are maintained in a safe, reliable, and cost-effective manner to support operational objectives.

Financial& Strategic Planning
Provide input into annual operating budgets and strategic planning initiatives.
Monitor performance against operational plans and goals.
Identify opportunities to improve service levels while reducing overall costs.
Monitor and evaluate key operational metrics, including:
Cost per cylinder filled
Cost per cylinder delivered
Vehicle utilization
Cylinder utilization
Other operational efficiency measurements

Required Qualifications
Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in:
Engineering
Business Management
Industrial Management
Related field

Experience Required
Strong related and commensurate operations leadership experience.

Preferred
1-3 years of experience in a gas production or distribution environment.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of gas production, filling, and distribution operations, methods, and practices.
Understanding of applicable regulations, including DOT, OSHA, FDA, CGA, EPA, and NFPA requirements.
Ability to develop organizational structures, personnel plans, and equipment resources to support current and future operations.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to achieve results through others.
Strong planning, organizational, and execution capabilities.
