JOB TITLE -REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER Salary range $150, 000 to $165,000
The Regional ASU Operations Manager hasoverall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all facilitiesused in the production of medical cryogenic liquids and industrial pipelinegases on a Regional basis These duties include quality control, personnelstaffing and training issues; safety, health and environmental regulatorycompliance; process optimization, equipment maintenance and supervision ofoperating and capital expenditures. The Regional Operations Manager reports tothe Zone Director Bulk Production.
Essential Function
Achievement of all safety, production, efficiency, quality and budgetarytargets for the Region
Supervising the recruiting and hiring of Managers and technicians within theRegion
Support of local personnel during all planned and unplanned plant outages
Support Plant Managers with the implementation and execution of all DepartmentInitiatives
Coordination of all plant maintenance activities within the region
Coordination of production scheduling with Product Management and LogisticsDepartments
Support of the Sales Team
Qualify and supervise vendors and contractors
Assist department head with data and budgetary preparations and presentations.
Fill in for a Plant Manager as may be required during his or her absence.
Willingness to be "on call " 24/7 for plant needs of any kind, (personnel,equipment, customer problems)
Complete knowledge of all MTG safety, compliance and quality policies.
Complete knowledge of all MTG personnel policies as they relate to ASU's
Complete knowledge of all in-region pipeline contracts and obligations
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
*Bachelor'sDegree in engineering or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of 5years specific management experience in the production of medical andindustrial atmospheric gases.
*Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
*Experienceinteracting with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies (FDA, EPA, OSHA,DHS. Etc.)
*Experienceimplementing and maintaining Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
*Understandingthe principles of Cryogenic Air Separation
*Understandingthe mechanical principles of rotating equipment
*Computerskills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, MicrosoftPowerPoint and Outlook.
*Understandingof General Accounting Techniques
*Advancedstatistical and analytical skills
*Possessionof a valid driver's license with clean driving record
*Comfortablewith public speaking
