Clinical Leadership Opportunity with a Growing Long-Term Care Organization

AMA-LTC is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant (RNC) to provide clinical leadership and operational support to multiple skilled nursing facilities throughout Missouri. As a rapidly growing long-term care organization expanding its footprint across Missouri and the United States, AMA-LTC is looking for a collaborative clinical leader who is passionate about developing teams, driving quality outcomes, and creating a culture of excellence.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse with multi-facility leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the complexities of skilled nursing, and enjoys mentoring Directors of Nursing and clinical leadership teams to achieve lasting success.
Position Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical oversight and consultation to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
  • Partner with Nursing Home Administrators and Directors of Nursing to improve clinical outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach Directors of Nursing and clinical leaders to become confident, independent decision-makers.
  • Assist facilities in preparing for and responding to state and federal surveys while promoting continuous survey readiness.
  • Analyze clinical data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices.
  • Support facilities with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
  • Assist with clinical systems implementation, policy development, and staff education.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and operational performance.
  • Support facilities caring for residents with behavioral health diagnoses, psychiatric disorders, dementia, and other medically complex conditions.
  • Travel throughout the assigned region to provide onsite leadership, coaching, and support.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the ability to practice in Missouri.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, including experience as a Director of Nursing or Regional Nurse Consultant.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements, survey process, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple facilities, priorities, and competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven success developing leaders who can effectively manage their departments and facilities independently.
  • Experience working with residents with behavioral health conditions, psychiatric disorders, dementia, and complex medical needs strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Quality Measures, infection prevention, and clinical reimbursement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
