Regional Market Leader, North Carolina Region

ms is seeking a dynamic, well-connected leader our North Carolina region as Regional Market Leader. This high-impact role is designed for a relationship-driven leader with a strong background in the water industry, deep business development experience, and a proven ability to expand market presence across the state.

As the senior leader for the region, you will define and execute regional growth strategies with a primary focus on advancing our Water Business Unit. You will cultivate key client relationships, identify and pursue new opportunities, and strengthen ms consultants' presence throughout North Carolina. While water will be the primary area of focus, this role also serves as a representative of the full capabilities of the firm, supporting growth and visibility for our Transportation and Architecture practices and promoting the value of our integrated services to clients and communities across the region.

As the face of ms in North Carolina, you will serve as a brand ambassador, opening doors, building strategic partnerships, and transforming opportunities into successful pursuits. You will play a key role in elevating our market presence, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the company for long-term growth across all service lines.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of a regional growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives
  • Build and sustain senior level relationships with public sector leaders, decision makers, and industry partners across North Carolina
  • Identify, pursue, and win new business while strengthening and expanding existing client partnerships
  • Partner with Business Unit Vice Presidents to align resources, streamline processes, and deliver integrated solutions
  • Represent ms as the senior brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and executive forums
  • Provide strategic revenue forecasts and client insights to the Chief Growth Officer
  • Monitor market trends, funding programs, and infrastructure priorities to position the firm for long-term success
  • Oversee the regional market ensuring alignment with company culture, performance standards, and delivery excellence
  • Champion all regional water initiatives from strategic planning to monitoring the execution by the technical team of complex water and wastewater related infrastructure projects
  • Lead the development of winning proposals, compelling presentations, and competitive budgets for all water projects
