Responsibilities

You Will:
  • Oversees and directs all aspects of the practice's clinical operations for the organization, ensures alignment with organizational strategy and utilizes best practices and continuous improvement processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitors and assures compliance with Quality Assurance Programs.
  • Works with Contracting Manager and medical groups to develop business relationships.
  • Promotes and supports the company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Achieves targeted volumes for business unit.
  • Manages team members and business operations to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Remains informed and anticipates potential pitfalls within the operation and works toward timely communication and resolution of issues.
  • Prepares operating budgets and effectively analyzes performance against those budgets.
  • Effectively utilizes team members ensuring appropriate levels of productivity.
  • Manages costs and expenses appropriately.
  • Oversees financial management of the business unit.
  • Develops strategies to achieve individual and business unit goals.
  • Recommends or seeks out new business opportunities.
  • Trains new managers.
  • Works to increase retention and reduce avoidable turnover.
  • Maintains employee morale and employee satisfaction at levels conducive to maintaining high productivity.
  • Sets clear and specific expectations/objectives for employees and departments.
  • Approves employee performance evaluations during review periods.
  • Ensures that all performance evaluations are completed, conducted, and submitted on time.
  • Recognizes and provides coaching, counseling, and discipline as appropriate.

  • Maintains a "team" mentality within Clinical Operations and as a member of senior management.
  • A four-year degree in business administration or health care administration is required.
  • Six or more years of experience in the radiology service industry and management experience is preferred.
  • An understanding of Contracting and experience working with medical groups is required.
