DescriptionRegional Manager of Customs Brokerage Green Worldwide is launching an exciting new dedicated Entry Team, bringing together skilled customs entry writers and customs brokerage professionals who are passionate about accuracy, compliance, and service excellence. This specialized team will play a key role in supporting Green's nationwide operations by delivering consistent, efficient, and high-quality customs entry processing across branches.
Positions for EAST and WEST Manager
How you will be successful....- Follow the Process: adhere to Green's established customs brokerage processes and client-specific SOPs.
- Manage your Entry Team to ensure all entries are timely and accurate and the grid remains green.
- Research and problem-solve questions of classification, valuation, tariff applicability, free trade agreement eligibility, partner government agency requirements and their input into Cargo Wise declarations.
- Ensure Entry Team members receive necessary training for new Customs and PGA requirements.
- Assist branch management and business development teams as Customs and PGA subject matter experts when called upon.
- Research errors, inaccuracies and delays to identify root causes and take disciplinary action when needed.
- Establish and maintain client SOPs pertaining to Customs and PGA.
- Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Participation in local customs brokerage associations, including attendance at seminars, Customs round-tables, port days, etc.
- Engagement in professional development and learning.
Key Competencies:- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including tariffs, trade agreements, and import/export restrictions.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations.
- Engage in innovative solutions to streamline operations.
- Proactively identify potential issues and opportunities and present solutions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and Customs officials.
Work Environment:- Office setting.
- Maybe some travel to see geographically dispersed team members.
- Some weekend and holiday work (Likely 2 weekends a year and escalations)

Required Qualifications- Customs Brokerage and PGA experience (minimum 7 years)
- Experience managing teams of 5+ people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Passionate attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:• Licensed customs broker
- Certified Customs Specialist (NCBFAA) Designation
• Cargowise Experience.
