Full Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, Indigenous Health and working in partnership with the Indigenous Health Leadership Team, the Regional Manager, Indigenous Health Service Integration provides leadership and operational oversight for Indigenous Health service delivery integration across Northern Health. This portfolio includes the Indigenous Care Team, Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) Senior Advisory, and Community Collaboration and Indigenous Partnerships functions. The role strengthens system readiness to provide culturally safe, trauma-aware, respectful care by supporting consistent practices, responsive relationships, and the translation of community and patient priorities into service planning and operational improvement.

The salary range for this position is $108,147 (min) to $135,184 (midpoint) to $155,461 (max) per annum, based on 1.0 FTE. Northern Health typically establishes salaries within the minimum and midpoint of the salary range based on qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

Qualfications
• A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a health related field or Business Administration and a minimum of seven (7) years of senior management experience in health care/program management required.

Skills and Abilities:
• Sound working knowledge of planning concepts related to budgetary, staffing, quality and strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and to build and support management teams.
• High-level communication skills, demonstrated organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relational practice skills and demonstrated experience working in partnership with Indigenous Peoples and organizations, including distinctions-based community engagement, shared planning/co-design, and strong follow-through ("closing the loop") on commitments.
• Expertise in facilitating consultation and community development processes.
• Ability to work with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous cultural milieus.
• Ability to adapt readily to rapid and changing environment and respond with initiative.
• Ability to interact professionally with various levels of personnel, both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and understanding of clinical service delivery in urban, rural and remote contexts.
• In-depth understanding of health services and operations.
• In-depth understanding of unique needs of rural and remote communities as well as the social determinants of health.
• Understanding of UNDRIP, Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, and other relevant reports, legislation, and agreements as well as cultural safety, cultural humility, and anti-racism approaches.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
