Full Job Description

General Description:

The Regional Manager will contribute to BeOne’s overall business objectives by performing assigned sales related activities. The Regional Manager will provide physicians, pharmacists and healthcare professionals with information that will enable them to prescribe BeOne’s portfolio of products safely and effectively. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing the territory and administrative requirements in an efficient manner and will achieve full compliance with applicable laws and regulations when representing BeOne’s products to Health Care Providers. The Regional Manager will partner with closely with cross-functional teams. This position reports to the Senior Director, Sales, Canada

This role is for the Atlantic Provinces territory. The Atlantic Canada region includes the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island


Essential Functions of the job:

  • Develop and execute strong regional plans with cross-functional support
  • Use expertise in hematology and oncology to be a scientific resource for stakeholders
  • Promotes BeOne’s products through calls on targeted physicians in assigned territory to implement sales, marketing and patient support programs
  • Trains and educates physician support staff on the proper use and handling of BeOne’s products.
  • Assures that healthcare professionals have realistic expectations concerning the use of BeOne’s products with their patients
  • Maintains communication and integrates activities, when appropriate, with BeOne’s cross-functional teams
  • Identifies customer changes and ensures, through coordinated communication and planning, that appropriate people and resources are allocated to address the change
  • Successful completion of all product knowledge coursework, and Compliance assignments
  • Performs all administrative functions required of the position, including reporting activity into the appropriate call reporting system in a timely manner, submitting expenses, etc.
  • Assists in the identification and resolution of issues, opportunities and communicates proactively to marketing and sales management.
  • Supports compliance with applicable BeOne policies and procedures (e.g., healthcare compliance, adverse event reporting, travel and expense reporting).

Other

  • Resourcefulness and ability to take a hands-on approach to executing the local plans with limited resources
  • Provide input to shape company policy and act as a role model to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensures compliance with Canadian pharmacovigilance regulations, including the reporting of adverse drug reactions and product quality complaints

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position does not have direct reports

Education Required: Undergraduate or professional degree

Computer Skills: 

  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Various CRM platforms (Explorer, Navigator, GURU, Veeva)

Qualifications:

  • This position requires an undergraduate degree
  • The ideal candidate should have 8 plus years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales & sales management, with significant Hematology experience. Hematology and/or oncology experience is strongly preferred; however, candidates with adjacent specialty experience (e.g., immunology, rare disease, hospital, or other complex therapeutic areas) will be considered
  • Must have a self-starting, self-managing independent work style
  • Strong communication skills
  • Dedicated to making customer service a priority
  • Must be results oriented with a strategic focus on sales
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proven track record of use
  • Ability to actively engage in developing new business
  • Proven track record of resilience in the face of challenges
  • Bilingualism (English/French) preferred

Remote role with expectation to be present in the office as often as required

Travel: Frequent travel within the Atlantic provinces, 40%-50%
