Full Job Description
Job Summary In partnership with the Child Advocacy and Protection Services (CAPS) and Ambulatory Services leaders, this position is responsible for the operations of the assigned child advocacy center(s) and designated medical satellite(s). Collaborates with medical and program directors to ensure best practice standards and guidelines are consistently implemented at the CAC. Works collaboratively with leaders and staff across the Child Advocacy and Protection Services (CAPS), Ambulatory Services and other related Children's Wisconsin programs to ensure for efficient, high quality multi-disciplinary care, within an ambulatory healthcare model, when child maltreatment is suspected. With CAPS and Ambulatory leadership, identifies and manages fiscal, logistic, and personnel processes to ensure seamless and successful operation of the CAC and designated medical satellite offices. Responsible for maintaining the CAC(s) National Children's Alliance (NCA) accreditation. Builds and fosters strong working relationships within the Children's Wisconsin healthcare system and multidisciplinary community partners--child protective services, law enforcement, and other agencies. In collaboration with CAPS and Ambulatory leadership, identifies opportunities for CAC and programmatic growth that align with Children's Wisconsin mission and strategic objectives. Leads ambulatory-wide initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and practice requirements. 3Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. 3Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration preferred. 35+ years of ambulatory care or similar health care related experience required. 31+ years supervisory experience required. 3Proven understanding of ambulatory operations and/or child advocacy and protection services preferred. 3Advanced analytical and decision making skills necessary to resolve employee and operational problems and assist in the development of departmental budgets and operational planning. 3Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, clinic/hospital staff and community. 3BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required. 3Provides care appropriate to patient population and as described in applicable policies and procedures. Certifications/Licenses: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
