Job DescriptionSamaritans Purse is seeking an
International Regional Manager, Caribbean & Pacific to serve with Operation Christmas Child (OCC) at our international headquarters in Boone, NC. As Regional Manager, you will work with local churches and volunteers to play an indispensable role in advancing God's kingdom through evangelizing and discipling children in the Caribbean and Pacific Islands. A day in the life of an International Regional Manager:At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.
In the role of
International Regional Manager, Caribbean & Pacific, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Recruit, select, equip, and lead volunteer leadership teams throughout the region to facilitate the distribution of OCC shoebox gifts and teach a twelve-lesson discipleship program (The Greatest Journey)
- Teach financial stewardship principals and record keeping to local teams
- Oversee the OCC administrative processes for the region
- Engage church leaders, potential ministry partners, community leaders and logistics clearing agents to open new islands for OCC Ministry
- Provide strategic direction for engaging unreached and least reached children
- Guide and support regional prayer events, teams and initiatives
- Provide regular progress reports and attend OCC leadership meetings
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- 3-5 years experience serving internationally or in cross-cultural contexts
- Experience recruiting and training volunteer teams
- Experience working with the local churches in a cross-cultural context
- Ability to present and train small and large groups
- Budgetary and financial management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships in the region
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Acrobat) and Zoom
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (strongly preferred)
Job Location: Boone, NC
Type: Full-Time
Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required); Proficiency in French (preferred)
Travel Expectations: 80-100 days annually; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries if necessary
