The primary responsibility of the
Regional Maintenance Manager is to lead Fleet and Plant Maintenance operations throughout the region. This position oversees the teams responsible for maintaining our Ready-Mix Concrete Production Plants, Ready-Mix Concrete Mixer Trucks, front-end loaders, and related equipment, with a focus on equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and minimizing operational downtime.
The Regional Maintenance Manager will work closely with leadership to establish maintenance priorities, allocate resources, and ensure Fleet and Plant Maintenance teams effectively support production and delivery operations.
Education, Experience, and Skills:- 3-5 years of leadership experience
- 8-10 years of maintenance experience
- Ready-Mix Concrete industry experience, preferred
- Strong working knowledge of heavy-duty fleet and manufacturing/production equipment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fabrication, and welding systems
- Experience leading teams across multiple locations
- Ability to establish priorities and effectively manage maintenance resources
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to evaluate maintenance performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Valid Driver License with driving record that meets Company standards
- Ability to travel throughout the East Coast region of Florida
Tasks and Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and oversight for Fleet and Plant Maintenance operations throughout the assigned region
- Lead, develop, and support Maintenance Managers and their teams
- Establish maintenance priorities and expectations for plants and equipment
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure maintenance standards are consistently followed
- Monitor equipment reliability, availability, downtime, and overall maintenance performance
- Partner with Ready-Mix Operations leadership to ensure maintenance priorities support production and delivery needs
- Ensure maintenance resources are effectively allocated across facilities within the region
- Identify recurring equipment issues and opportunities to improve fleet and plant reliability
- Monitor maintenance costs, parts and inventory needs, vendors, and outside repair services
- Support equipment replacement planning, capital improvements, and major maintenance projects
- Establish accountability for timely and effective completion of maintenance and repairs
- Ensure company safety standards and expectations are met
- Develop maintenance leadership and support the training of all Maintenance Team Members
- Drive consistency and continuous improvement across Fleet and Plant Maintenance operations
