About the Role
The Regional Learning Manager is responsible for designing, deploying, and continuously
improving training programs across a portfolio of fulfillment centers within their region. This role
bridges corporate learning strategy with the realities of the warehouse floor - ensuring
associates, leads, and site leaders have the skills and knowledge to operate safely, efficiently,
and consistently across every facility.
Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery & Site Support
Own the end-to-end training experience across all fulfillment sites in the region, including new hire onboarding for exempt and non-exempt employees, cross-training, and leadership development
Partner with Site Leaders, Network Support Leaders, and Operations Leaders to diagnose performance gaps and design targeted learning and training programs
Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, train-the-trainer certifications, and floor-level coaching and training
Monitor training completion, certification status, and skill proficiency across sites; escalate risks proactively
Curriculum & Content
Localize and roll out corporate-standard curricula (safety, equipment operation, WMS/
systems training, quality standards) to fit site and client specific processes
Identify content gaps and build or update materials (SOPs, job aids, e-learning modules,
videos)
Maintain consistency of training standards across the region while allowing for site-level
flexibility
Data & Continuous Improvement
Track key metrics: time-to-proficiency, training completion rates, safety incident
correlation, turnover/retention impact
Use performance data to prioritize which sites or roles need additional support
Report regional training health to L&D leadership and operations stakeholders on a
regular cadence
Leadership & Trainer Development
Recruit, coach, and certify site-level trainers and training leads
Build bench strength by developing frontline leaders' coaching and training capabilities
Act as a change agent during new site launches, peak season ramp-ups, and process/
system rollouts
Qualifications
Required
4+ years of experience in learning & development, training, or operations, with at least 2
years in a fulfillment, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
Proven ability to design and deliver training programs across multiple sites or shifts
Strong partnership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-
functional teams, build trusted relationships with stakeholders, and communicate clearly
with diverse audiences
Strong facilitation skills - comfortable training both frontline associates and site
leadership
Data-literate: able to use training and performance data to make decisions and tell a
story to stakeholders
Willingness to travel regularly across the region (typically 40-60%)
Preferred
Experience with LMS platforms
Familiarity with WMS systems and fulfillment/logistics operations
Instructional design experience
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus depending on site footprint
Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement background

All sites in region at or above target training completion and certification rates
Reduced time-to-proficiency for new hires
A trained, certified bench of site-level trainers at each facility
Measurable link between training initiatives and safety/quality/productivity KPIs
