Due to the nature of the role, applicants who do not meet these criteria cannot be considered.A Regional Leader is responsible for advancing the overall performance, culture, and long-term strength of the region. This role ensures the effective execution of region strategies to drive region and market performance by leading with clarity, developing future leaders, and applying localized, data-driven insights to guide decisions. Serving as a critical bridge between the firm and Branch Teams-- the Regional Leader champions regional needs through the MM and HO system, while serving as a conduit to connect Branch and Region Leadership Teams to the right resources. Regional Leaders drive for alignment, engagement, and readiness across all teams by influencing others to willingly perform at their maximum potential towards a common goal, delivering results by lifting people's vision, performance and personality.
What you'll do:Culture, Communication, and Change Leadership: Builds and sustains a high-performing culture aligned with firm values through clear, effective communication and impactful change leadership-fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and engagement while keeping teams aligned, informed, and equipped to succeed through change and drive firm success.
Talent Development and Leadership Succession: Builds a strong talent pipeline by identifying, developing, and preparing future leaders within the region. Ensures high-potential individuals receive coaching, mentorship, and growth opportunities that support regional succession planning and long-term organizational strength.
Deliver Region Objectives through Localized, Data-Driven Leadership: Accountable for achieving Region objectives by creating a strong region business plan-and inputs for the Market Business plan-- that utilizes your deep knowledge of branch teams, competitive and community insights, levers that impact P&L, and data. Accountable to execute on the Region Business plan with continuous review and refinement of strategies based on regional performance trends and intentional performance management of Region Leadership.
Position RequirementsWhat you'll need: - Meets or Exceeds Expectations
- Good standing with Human Capital, Compliance and Field Supervision
- PML 7+
- Preferred designation (e.g. CFP, CHFC, CPWA, CEPA)
- Branch has been profitable for 2+ years
- 5+ years of formal leadership experience at Edward Jones or equivalent prior experience outside of the firm in people / strategic leadership - e.g. director, general manager, sergeant, staff sergeant, lieutenant, etc.
