Role SummaryThe Regional Investment Consultant drives sales growth, expands advisor relationships, and increases market share within a designated territory. As a trusted partner to financial advisors and broker-dealer firms, you will deliver investment solutions that help clients meet their business and investment goals.
The Regional Investment Consultant must be based in the geographical territory in which he/she resides and has an established network in the region.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive sales, asset growth, and market share.
- Build and strengthen relationships with financial advisors, broker-dealers, and key decision-makers.
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering investment insights, business solutions, and market expertise.
- Partner across investment, product, marketing, and relationship management teams to deliver customized client solutions.
- Lead client presentations, business reviews, and sales discussions with advisors and firm leaders.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and provide strategic guidance.
- Share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of sales strategies, tools, and client engagement approaches.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, risk management, and firm policies.
QualificationsRequired:- Ten plus years of relevant work experience
- Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Established relationships with wirehouse, independent and regional broker-dealer advisors
- Proven track record of growing advisor relationships and achieving or exceeding sales goals
Preferred:- At least five years of experience wholesaling to financial advisors in the posted territory
- Professional designation or advanced degree such as CFA, CFP®, CIMA®, or MBA
- Experience representing a broad range of investment products and portfolio solutions
FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.

$144,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$144,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$144,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
