Details: This role supports facilities located in the Mountain and Pacific time zones, and
candidates based in the Pacific time zone are preferred to help ensure strong alignment with the teams served.
The position includes travel of up to 25%, with travel needs expected to be greater during the early stages of the role.

Regional Human Resources Manager to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across assigned facilities and programs within a designated geographic region. This role oversees Site Human Resources teams and serves as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services while fostering employee engagement, maintaining compliance, developing talent, and supporting organizational performance.
What You'll Do - Lead, mentor, and develop Site Human Resources teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, training, coaching, and support to HR staff aligned with company goals and strategic priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Handle complex employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution, partnering with HR Leadership and Legal when appropriate.
- Review and approve high-level disciplinary actions and termination decisions, as needed.
- Provide subject matter expertise related to leave administration, ADA accommodations, and compliance with employment laws.
- Monitor workforce trends and key HR metrics including turnover, retention, engagement, staffing, and compliance indicators.
- Troubleshoot HRIS and timekeeping issues, conduct audits, and collaborate with site teams to ensure data accuracy and process consistency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and accreditation requirements.
- Lead and support organizational initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and change management activities.
- Conduct regular site visits to build relationships, assess organizational needs, and provide hands-on support and training to leaders and employees.
What We're Looking For Education - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (required)
Experience - Minimum five (5) years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience (required)
- Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience (required)
- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (required)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices in California (required)
- Experience managing or leading Human Resources professionals across multiple locations (preferred)
- Experience supporting human resources within inpatient mental health facilities or hospital environments (preferred)
- Experience supporting both union and non-union workforces (preferred)
- Experience working with healthcare regulatory agencies and accreditation standards, including The Joint Commission (TJC) and CARF (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications - SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred)
