Full Job Description
Your Role

In your role as Regional Head of Project Controls - Americas, reporting to the Global Head of Project Controls, you will lead the regional Project Controls team supporting the Engineering & Technology capital project portfolio. You will oversee planning and scheduling, cost management, estimating, risk and change management, and project performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You will implement global standards and governance, build regional capability, and provide trusted insight that enables informed decisions and predictable project delivery across the Americas portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach and develop the regional Project Controls team, promoting accountability, collaboration, technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality Project Controls support across the Americas capital portfolio.
  • Ensure projects establish and maintain robust schedule and cost baselines, forecasts, dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Monitor performance, identify emerging risks and trends, and support recovery planning where required.
  • Drive consistent application of global Project Controls standards, procedures, systems, templates and governance requirements.
  • Support project health checks, assurance activities and stage-gate reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and deploy regional resources in line with portfolio priorities, while developing future capability and succession.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, site teams, Finance, Procurement, global Project Controls colleagues and external project partners.


Preferred location: St. Louis, MO. However, candidates based in other locations near one of our Life Science sites will also be considered.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying or a related field.
  • You bring 7+ years of experience in Project Controls supporting major capital projects or complex project portfolios.
  • You have demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary Project Controls teams.
  • You have strong knowledge of integrated planning and scheduling, cost management, estimating, risk management, change management and project performance reporting.
  • You have experience applying Project Controls standards, processes and governance across projects or portfolios.
  • You are fluent in English and communicate effectively with technical, operational and business stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Engineering & Technology, manufacturing, life science, pharmaceutical, chemical or another regulated industry.
  • Experience leading Project Controls across a regional, multi-site or geographically distributed capital portfolio.
  • Experience implementing global standards, procedures, templates, systems or digital tools.
  • A track record of improving project predictability, cost and schedule performance, and the quality of portfolio reporting.
  • Experience developing Project Controls capability through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement.


Pay Range for this position: $110,600 - $166,000

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
