Regional Field Marketing Manager
Job Description

The Field Marketing Manager, is a part of the Growth Marketing team that supports sales in developing and executing local and state-wide marketing plans that drive strategy and quota attainment goals. As an integral part of the sales support teams, the Field Marketer Manager works closely with sales leaders, product marketing, events and customer marketing, government affairs and other cross-functional teams to generate new leads and effectively communicate solution and product benefits to schools/school districts and other special markets.

Also responsible for developing and managing field demand generation programs and campaigns to create new business opportunities, drive and nurture leads, and accelerate existing opportunities. This person is detail-oriented and a team player who is excited to be part of a dynamic and ambitious sales & marketing team.

In this role as a Regional Field Marketing Manager, you will:
  • Support Sales teams in developing and executing account-based or state-wide marketing plans that drive results
  • Develop strong relationships with sales leaders to analyze CRM data including pipeline and growth-area opportunities
  • Be responsible for developing and leading field demand generation programs and campaigns and leverage account-level, state or national sponsorships to build new business opportunities, drive and nurture leads, and accelerate existing opportunities
  • Support implementation, retention and renewal efforts as needed in conjunction with sales and customer success partners

To achieve this, you will:
  • Build a regional marketing strategy in alignment with sales goals and plans, along with interpreting state/local market education dynamics to address state requirements
  • Manage a marketing calendar including demand gen campaigns, sponsorships with education agencies, webinars, events/tradeshows, and market trends (state and federal funding grant deadlines, etc.) that can be leveraged by sales teams
  • Partner with the event team to execute flawlessly on tradeshows, conferences and custom events as strategy agreed by the sales leadership and you, this includes helping the sales team understand the value of setting and delivering on event goals
  • Regularly communicate state and local marketing programs and results (ROI, KPIs, etc.) to sales and marketing stakeholders
  • Partner with sales enablement and participate in sales and product training to effectively support sales efforts
  • Travel with sales teams to attend events and customer meetings is required periodically throughout the year


Qualifications

For this role as Regional Field Marketing Manager, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or master's degree from four-year college or university
  • Experience marketing to PreK-12 education market and/or education technology background preferred
  • 5 years related marketing experience and/or training, ideally in field marketing or sales enablement
  • Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing and implementing strategy
  • Familiar with MS Office applications
  • Event planning (in-person and virtual) software proficiency
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, content and project management software
  • AI proficiency and the ability to use AI tools to improve marketing planning, campaign execution, content development, reporting, and sales enablement

  • Metric driven and has the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
  • AI expertise recommended for a Field Marketing Manager, including using AI to summarize account and market insights, personalize campaign messaging, identify event and webinar follow-up opportunities, analyze performance data, generate first-draft content, and improve productivity across CRM, marketing automation, project management, and reporting workflows


Salary Range: The base range for this position is $74,700.00 - $102,750.00. This range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location.
