Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly and quarterly sales plans aligning with organizational objectives
  • Establish and monitor sales targets for the assigned team
  • Analyze sales conversion ratios with executive and sales teams
  • Implement coaching and training strategies based on sales analysis
  • Ensure adherence to first impression checklists during on-site visits
  • Conduct weekly strategy calls with Executive Directors and sales teams
  • Support occupancy goals in the absence of community relations directors
  • Maintain quality control through regular community visits
  • Train new and existing community relations staff on CRM and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams on targeted strategies
  • Recommend sales strategy improvements based on market research
  • Monitor compliance with sales policies and procedures
  • Report progress to Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Director of Sales

Full Job Description
Responsible for increasing the occupancy or sustaining maximum occupancy levels in communities within their assigned area. In addition, the position is responsible for training and supporting the Directors of Community Relations and/or Community Relations Coordinators, if applicable, in those communities in their assigned area.

  1. Develop monthly/quarterly sales plan, in coordination with Corporate Director of Sales, in support of organization strategy and objectives.
  2. Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and quarterly targets for your assigned sales team.
  3. Analyze conversion ratios and steps within the sales process with the Executive Directors and Sales team.
  4. Determine and implement training and coaching based on analysis of conversions and present findings and plans to Corporate Director of Sales.
  5. Work in conjunction with Corporate Director of Sales and Regional Director of Operations to ensure first impression checklist is being adhered to.
  6. Hold weekly calls with Executive Director and Sales team in each community to discuss upcoming admissions and strategize leads.
  7. Cover the role of the Director of Community Relations upon the absence of the position within a given community and/or start-up community to increase and/or sustain maximum occupancy levels.
  8. Regular on-site visits to communities in your assigned territory for quality control purposes.
  9. Train and/or support new and existing Directors of Community Relations and Community Relations Coordinators on (CRM) customer sales system, including handling inquiries, planning visits, database management, and daily, weekly & quarterly reporting.
  10. Work with the Marketing Department and Business Development team to implement marketing plans to achieve set occupancy goals.
  11. Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  12. Understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
  13. Determine and ensure that all policies & procedures as it pertains to the Director of Community Relations are being adhered to.
  14. Provide required reporting to Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Director of Sales on the progress made in communities.
  15. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks.
  16. All other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Sales.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum five (5) years sales experience in the health care or retirement living setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
  • Willing to travel within the Tristate area.
  • Professional Image.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • Ability to relate well to the senior population.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office.
  • Patience with perseverance and follow-through capabilities.
