Regional Director of Ops - Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Regional Director of Operations supports the Vice President of Environmental Services, Transport & Valet by providing direct oversight and follow-up across assigned hospital accounts, including all services lines, free standing EDs and MOBs. This role ensures consistent execution of operational standards, regulatory compliance, safety initiatives, and quality performance. The Regional Director will serve as an extension of the VP, driving accountability, supporting frontline teams, and helping maintain a high level of service excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct follow-ups on VP site visits to confirm that action items are completed and compliance issues are resolved.

Track and manage progress on ACR (Account Condition Reports) and ensure timely completion of all related action plans.

Lead and schedule the Traveling Floor Care Team to ensure efficient coverage and quality outcomes across all accounts.

Monitor and support the HCAPS Playbook to ensure consistent rollout, training, and implementation at each site.

Oversee the execution of the safety program, ensuring teams follow safety protocols and that all incident reports are addressed and closed.

Support Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives, ensuring all sites meet or exceed QA goals and metrics.

Review Operations (OPS) Packs regularly to confirm documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with company standards.

Provide field support during regulatory surveys and inspections, and help prepare sites for compliance readiness.

Offer operational backfill support during leadership transitions, leaves of absence, or performance improvement periods.

Coach and support onsite leaders to ensure service excellence, team engagement, and consistent delivery of patient-focused outcomes.
