Regional Director of Operations

StoneGate Senior Living | Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

StoneGate Senior Living is seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities, ALFs, and Independent Housing throughout Texas. What You'll Do

As the Regional Director of Operations, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and provide operational leadership for multiple skilled nursing facilities. You will partner with facility administrators and interdisciplinary support teams to drive outstanding clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and operational oversight for multiple skilled nursing facilities.
  • Support and mentor Executive Directors/Administrators to achieve excellence in quality care, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Conduct routine facility visits to evaluate operations, regulatory compliance, clinical outcomes, and customer service.
  • Partner with clinical, financial, human resources, reimbursement, and quality teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, labor management, census growth, and expense control.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop action plans to improve operational performance and regulatory outcomes.
  • Support recruitment, leadership development, retention, and succession planning for facility leadership teams.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and community partners.
  • Foster a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, integrity, and servant leadership.
Qualifications
Required
  • Current Nursing Facility Administrator (NFA) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nursing Facility Administrator in a skilled nursing setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of multi-facility operations leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing high-volume Medicare and Managed Care facilities.
  • Strong understanding of skilled nursing operations, reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and quality metrics.
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% throughout the assigned region.
  • Proven track record of achieving strong financial performance, regulatory compliance, occupancy growth, and quality outcomes.
