We are looking for a
Regional Director of Operations to lead multiple branch locations, drive operational excellence, and build a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll DoAs the Regional Director of Operations, you'll provide strategic leadership for multiple branch locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations while driving financial performance and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop branch leadership teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee daily operations across multiple locations to ensure consistent execution of company standards and service expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
- Champion workplace safety and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Manage regional operating budgets, P&L performance, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement action plans to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure facilities, fleet, inventory, and equipment are maintained to support safe and efficient operations.
- Develop talent through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and employee development.
- Lead the implementation of corporate initiatives and serve as a champion for organizational change.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
- Experience leading multiple locations or regional operations.
- Demonstrated success managing P&L performance, budgets, and operational metrics.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead through change.
- Proficiency with business systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications- Background in industrial distribution, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or a related industry
