Full Job Description
This position is incentive eligible.

Position Overview:

As a Regional Director of Enrollment at Galen College of Nursing, you will provide leadership in managing, enhancing and planning all aspects of the student recruitment, admission, and placement processes. The Regional Director will maintain a positive, team oriented approach that ensures each campus Admissions department is working proactively toward achieving admission and placement goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and report progress of each campus/individual Admission Representative.
  2. Develop system recruitment and admission training procedures.
  3. Provide support and ongoing training for Admissions Managers and Admission Representatives.
  4. Recruit, hire and train new Admission Representatives as needed.
  5. Increase communications and motivation among Admissions Representatives.
  6. Define and continue to evaluate position descriptions for Admission Representatives.
  7. Implement follow up procedures and provide feedback to improve the admissions process.
  8. Develop and plan annual training meetings for Regional Admission Representatives.
  9. Attend management training and recruitment related seminars.
  10. Improve and increase high school marketing in all Galen Regional campus markets.
  11. Assist with developing admissions/recruitment related forms for company intranet.
  12. Work with VP of Enrollment Management in developing and updating admission and recruitment material.
  13. Approve foreign transcripts and proof of graduation for high school and GED.
  14. Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Five plus years of successful sales and management experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Special Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated managerial and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of college admissions, preferably with professional work experience.
  • Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment: 60% Travel required, 40% work from home or local campus. Must be able to sit at a desk for eight hours at a time.
  • Degree of Supervision: Minimal.
