Full Job Description
Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Regional Director to drive performance management and enablement, leading operational excellence for dozens of attorneys and hundreds of support staff. The Director of Regional Operations will work directly with the Managing Director of Personal Injury Operations and will serve as a core leader at the nexus of the firm's expansion and growth.

The Regional Director will be accountable for the financial and operational performance of Personal Injury in the region and will partner with local Managing Partners and other attorney leaders to ensure success. The Director will be a critical member of the Operations leadership team and will work cross-functionally to deliver optimal client results, building deep relationships with departments including Finance, HR, IT, Product, Training, and Marketing to do so. By providing data-driven on-the-ground support and facilitating connections to shared services firmwide, the Director of Regional Operations will elevate the productivity of attorneys and staff and contribute meaningfully to the local P&L.

Responsibilities
  • Help set financial and operational goals for attorneys and staff, and monitor performance in real-time through KPIs and dashboards
  • Maintain a clear understanding of business needs as they pertain to local and national firm interests
  • Resolve roadblocks and challenges for attorneys and staff by managing and tracking support from other corporate departments (e.g., Training, IT, HR, etc.)
  • Guarantee teams are fully equipped to achieve their targets by directing vision, training, technology, and support
  • Provide appropriate leadership to promote positive employee morale and a performance-oriented culture in accordance with the firm's values
  • Report and communicate department goals and progress to appropriate stakeholders


Preferred Experience & Attributes:
  • 7-15 years of corporate experience directly managing other people (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related fields (required)
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • A people-first approach to problem solving that is rooted in analytics and creativity
  • Experience working in a Salesforce environment (preferred)
  • Successful delivery of projects through the management and coordination of resources
  • An appreciation that strategy is only as impactful as its execution and follow-through
  • An understanding of when to lead and when to be a team player
