Full Job Description
The Regional Director, HS&E supporting our Infrastructure Services Division will lead and manage HSE functional activities, aligning the company's HSE strategic direction with operational execution. The role ensures compliant and effective implementation of HSE policies, systems, practices, and programs, with a strong focus on risk management, standardization, and continuous improvement within Canada, USA, and international jurisdictions.

You, as a Regional Director, Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) will:
  • Provide strategic leadership for HS&E by shaping the Infrastructure Services strategy, standards, roadmaps, and initiatives, and translating them into practical, executable plans aligned with business objectives across a matrix organization.
  • Partner closely with senior management to align HSE priorities with operational and commercial goals, ensuring consistent execution across operations in Canada, USA, and international jurisdictions, while adapting to project-specific risks, resources, and realities.
  • Ensure the effective and compliant implementation of HSE policies, systems, and programs across service groups, with a strong focus on proactive identification, assessment, and management of critical risks.
  • Lead HSE audit programs, analyze trends and deviations, drive corrective and preventive actions, and oversee the development and continuous improvement of emergency and crisis management frameworks.
  • Foster a strong culture of care, accountability, and continuous improvement through visible leadership, site engagement, cross-functional collaboration, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Lead, coach, and develop HSE teams to ensure strong performance, capability growth, and effective succession planning across the services portfolio.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and service groups on complex HSE risks, issues, and change initiatives, providing practical guidance and influencing sound decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate HSE performance using KPIs, OKRs, and data insights to identify strengths, gaps, and improvement opportunities across the service portfolio's


Is this the right role for you?
  • Minimum of 10 years of Health and Safety experience, preferably in operational environments such as facilities management, digital services and other service-based operations or related industries.
  • University degree or college diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is preferred
  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) (or in the process of obtaining) is preferred.
  • You have the ability to delegate and influence others to follow safety rules and regulations
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills
  • Able to remain positive and adapt to frequent change in the workplace, including delays and/or unexpected events
  • Strong communication skills to engage, motivate and lead employees
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Business acumen to understand and interpret associated KPIs related to company and department performance
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Must have excellent knowledge of federal, provincial and local environmental and occupational health legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in international health, safety and environment legislations or regulations is an asset
  • The salary range for this role is $133,100 -166,4000
