Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in steel detailing and team management.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing project teams.
• Strong proficiency in computer applications and software tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate degree in drafting or a related field required.
• Experience with Tekla and/or 3D modeling software is essential.
• Knowledge of current building codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, training, and mentoring of the detailing team.
• Ensure project schedules are adhered to for timely drawing submissions.
• Oversee project detailing for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Produce various types of drawings: 3D models, shop, assembly, and erection drawings.
• Analyze steel connection requirements for projects.
• Submit RFIs to clients to clarify project specifications.
• Conduct final checks of drawings to ensure contract compliance.
