• Associate degree in drafting or related field preferred.
• Experience with Tekla and/or 3D modeling software required.
• Knowledge of current building codes and regulations expected.
• Ability to interpret drawings and contract specifications is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hiring, training, and mentoring of the detailing team in the region.
• Oversee project schedules to ensure timely submission of all drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and standard compliance in detailing projects.
• Produce 3D models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, and erection drawings.
• Analyze steel member connections for project suitability.
• Submit requests for information (RFIs) to clients as needed.
• Perform final checks on drawings for compliance with contract documents.
