Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience as a Deployment Manager or similar role (additional experience may suffice in lieu of degree).
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a CBP Public Trust clearance.
• Residing in the San Diego area preferred for local operations.
• Understanding of construction techniques for cabling and ability to interpret documents.
• Solid grasp of Project Management principles with good time-management skills and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications for fieldwork management.
• In-depth knowledge of signal cabling (CAT 6, coaxial) and fiber optics (Single-mode, Multi-mode), including testing and installation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform equipment installations at various border-related sites.
• Oversee electrical contractors for site modifications related to installations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work progress and installation outcomes.
• Troubleshoot issues to resolution as they arise in the field.
• Proactively identify and resolve problems during installations.
• Ensure compliance with IT and physical security policies throughout operations.
• Operate effectively in diverse weather conditions without on-site supervision.
• Provide surge support for repair work at local Ports of Entry when not deployed.
