Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a CBP Public Trust clearance.
• Residing in the Northern Virginia area is required for this position.
• Proficient in basic construction methods for cabling and able to interpret construction plans.
• Solid grasp of project management principles and strong time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiar with mobile tools and applications relevant to deployment work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform installations at Land Ports of Entry and Airports.
• Oversee electrical contractors for site modifications.
• Keep accurate records of work progress.
• Troubleshoot issues until resolved.
• Identify risks during installations and develop solutions.
• Maintain an in-depth technical understanding of deployed IT infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with IT Security and operations security policies.
• Work independently in various weather conditions without supervision.
• Provide surge support for non-deployment technical issues within the DC Metro area.
• Establish trust with Customs and Border Protection personnel at work sites.
