What Will You Enjoy Doing

Operations Controlling

  • Manage, control, and continuously improve operational controlling processes across the region
  • Establish and maintain standardized operational KPI definitions, governance and reporting processes
  • Support the development, modification and deployment of operational KPIs aligned with regional and business objectives
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy and data integrity of operational reporting across plants
  • Monitor compliance with established reporting standards and Corporate Business Rules
  • Analyze operational performance trends, benchmark facilities and identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and other performance reporting tools
  • Provide actionable performance insights to regional operations leadership to support proactive decision making
  • Validate and track operational improvement benefits and savings
  • Support regional leadership reviews and business performance discussions


Digitization and Smart Manufacturing

  • Lead regional deployment of the digital solutions strategy
  • Lead and develop assigned Digitization and Smart Manufacturing team members by establishing priorities, performance expectations and accountability for project execution
  • Identify, evaluate and deploy digital tools and automation opportunities that improve operational effectiveness
  • Support implementation and sustainment of Smart Manufacturing initiatives across the region
  • Drive adoption and effective utilization of approved operational technology platforms
  • Govern operational data structures and databases to support consistent and reliable use of manufacturing data
  • Ensure alignment, integration and sustainment of BPM, Digital Friend, eMIS, Power BI, ALPLA production systems and future operational platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Business Rules related to operational information systems
  • Partner with plants and regional functions to implement, sustain and continuously improve operational systems and digital tools.


Continuous Improvement Support

  • Lead and support projects related to operational reporting, data analytics, digital solutions and Smart Manufacturing implementation.
  • Provide analytical and data support for regional Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish measurement approaches and validate benefit realization for improvement projects
  • Support operational assessments, maturity evaluations and performance reporting
  • Identify improvement opportunities through operational data analysis and performance benchmarking
  • Partner with OPEX leaders and plant teams to translate performance data into improvement priorities and actions
  • Support development and sustainment of standardized tools and reporting methods used to measure continuous improvement performance

Education:

  • 4-year degree (STEM discipline preferred) or 15 years of relevant operational excellence related experience


Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a manufacturing. Ideal assignments include process analysis, supply chain, operations and lean management.


Skills:

  • Knowledge of Project Management; experience leading projects
  • Computer literate (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Understanding of statistical tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of enterprise software and data management systems (preferred)
  • Social and interpersonal skills; good understanding of basics from behavioral economics
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking; ability to see things in terms of holistic view
  • Able to handle multi-task environment with excellent organizational skills.
