Regional Business Office Manager

ALIYA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Regional Business Office Manager to oversee business office operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities within an assigned region. As a key member of our team, you will ensure accurate billing, strong cash flow, regulatory compliance, and consistent business office performance while supporting and developing facility-level teams.

Location - South Side Chicago

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee business office operations for multiple ALIYA Healthcare facilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Private Pay
  • Monitor accounts receivable, cash collections, and aging; implement corrective action plans as needed
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer billing regulations
  • Coach, train, and support facility Business Office Managers and billing staff
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development
  • Provide on-site and remote support to facilities to ensure consistency and best practices
  • Review month-end close processes, audits, and reconciliations
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance
  • Partner with MDS, Case Management, Admissions, and Nursing leadership to ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Support Administrators with financial reporting and operational insights
  • Prepare and support facilities during billing audits and surveys
  • Ensure documentation, internal controls, and compliance standards are consistently met
  • Stay current on changes to Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing requirements
