This position is responsible for growing profitable sales through HTWP's network of wholesale distribution partners and other sales channels.
Responsibilities - Create, present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Conducting Product Knowledge sessions in the field
- Participate in trade shows
- Surveying Distributors, Wholesalers, Retailers, Drywall Supply Houses, and the occasional job site
- Gauging and reporting fire retardant treated wood volume and market share
- Promoting HTWP's products using Design and Construction Guide on sales calls
- Common uses
- Technical information
- Promoting Hoover stocking Distributors to Retailers in all markets
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with 5 years of outside sales success is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of commodity lumber and plywood markets
- Building product channel sales and lumber or plywood sales experience is preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong computer skills
- Must possess the technical acumen to to convey the varied product and service benefits that define the HTWP brand.

Requirements - Willingness to travel (overnight) extensively across the state of Florida.
- Self-driven and able to work remotely.
