Essential Duties

  • Optimize the Parts and Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, growing profitable sales, exercising disciplined expense control, attracting and retaining outstanding talent and effectively engaging department personnel.
  • Encourages the creation of annual Parts and Service Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization's financial and operational objectives.
  • Develops and executes Parts and Service Department marketing plan and monitor monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals.
  • Recruits, hires, develops, and retains key talent through training and individual development plans.
  • Coaching, counseling and training of members through use of Performance Reviews and Wage Reviews.
  • Takes the lead in sharing best practices and implementing common processes throughout their region.
  • Ensures the maintenance of the service physical plant and yard areas, mobile equipment, service vehicles, shop equipment and tooling.
  • Leads the positive and professional tone within the organization, with OEMs and customers.
  • Establishes training/learning paths for all parts and service personnel. Determine training programs to participate in based on training budget established in collaboration with Store Manager.
  • Ensures adherence to Parts and Service Department safety program.
  • Analyze parts process errors and implement corrective action.
  • Ensures adherence to corporate inventory performance objectives.
  • Comply with company policies and applicable governmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Effort:

Regional Aftermarket Managers must be capable of moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs. They must be able to move on/under agricultural equipment and agricultural sites (irregular terrain). Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time and must be able to operate a motor vehicle during the day and/or night.

Working Conditions:

There are times where Regional Aftermarket Managers are exposed to hazardous conditions such as electrical, mechanical, and power equipment. There is risk of exposure to dirt, dust, grease, mists, fumes, cuts, bruises, strains, loud noises, chemicals such as oils, antifreeze, battery acid, etc. To combat these potential dangers and risk hazards, Regional Aftermarket Managers must follow all safety procedures, proper equipment and warehouse safety, and PPE.

Travel:

Frequent regional travel may be necessary.

Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is vital. Must attend work regularly and arrive at work on time. Failure to do so detrimentally affects team morale and productivity.
