The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for compliantly promoting the assigned product portfolio within an assigned territory to achieve sales growth and maintain existing business. Each RAM will support a designated therapeutic area and customer base, including stakeholders involved in the care of patients with rare bleeding disorders, hemophilia, or pediatric oncology conditions.
The RAM develops relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders who influence patient care and treatment decisions, including physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurse educators, specialty pharmacies, treatment centers, office staff, advocacy organizations, and patient support partners.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Promote the product portfolio to targeted customers and accounts within the territory
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders, including Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs), pediatric oncology centers, children's hospitals, academic institutions, specialty pharmacies, and Centers of Excellence
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of the assigned disease state, products, and patient support services
- Execute approved sales strategies, educational programs, and promotional initiatives consistent with brand objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and optimize business opportunities
- Develop and execute territory and account business plans
- Deliver sales results that meet or exceed established goals
- Utilize territory resources effectively and in accordance with company direction
- Identify customer needs and develop appropriate business solutions
- Conduct all activities in compliance with approved product labeling, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of four years of demonstrated success in specialty pharmaceutical, biologic, hospital/institutional, or related healthcare sales.
- Ability to communicate complex scientific and medical information effectively.
- Strong organizational, planning, and account management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proven record of sales success.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must reside within assigned territory and within reasonable distance of a major airport.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in rare disease, hematology, hemophilia, oncology, pediatric oncology, biologics, or organ drug markets
- Experience calling on Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs), pediatric oncology center, children's hospitals, academic institutions, specialty pharmacies, and other specialized healthcare settings
- Experience working with patient support groups, HUB services, and advocacy organizations

- Ability to accommodate up to 60% travel by plane, train and/or automobile which includes overnight travel; amount of travel depends on assigned territory.
- Weekend and evening hours may be required based on the needs of the business.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to interact with customers in person, virtually, by email, and by phone.
