Job Description

As a Refrigeration Controls Commissioning Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical expertise and support for field service operations in Bentonville, Arkansas. You will be responsible for the commissioning of BMS refrigeration, lighting, and HVAC systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will play a crucial role in delivering efficient and effective service to our customers.

You will report directly to our Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Bentonville, Arkansas location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our field service operations and help drive overall customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Commission BMS systems for Refrigeration, HVAC & Lighting applications
• Verify that systems meet design specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control hardware, wiring, and programming
• Provide technical expertise to contractors, customers, and internal Honeywell teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements and innovation
• Review contractor deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy
• Improve documentation, reporting, and training materials
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service technician or BMS installation role
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems
• Working knowledge of PC computers and software
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to customers and colleagues
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
• Be willing to travel more than 25% annually
