Position SummaryThe Recruitment Conversion and AI Engagement Officer plays a key role in bridging traditional international recruitment practices with evolving digital engagement strategies. As a member of the Recruitment team, the incumbent supports the development and execution of conversion tactics aligned with the College's digitalization and AI strategies, contributing to student engagement across all stages of the student journey-from pre-admission through to enrolment.
Reporting to the International Recruitment Conversion Manager, the role is responsible for executing targeted, timely, and personalized outreach activities that enhance conversion outcomes. The incumbent participates in a broad range of onshore and offshore recruitment initiatives and ensures effective follow-up and engagement with prospective students. The position collaborates closely with Marketing and Creative Services, International Admissions, Regional Offices, National Recruitment, Academic Faculties, and Communications to ensure alignment of messaging, outreach strategies, and student communications. The role also supports data collection and analysis to inform decision-making and improve conversion performance.
Acting as a contributor to the College's digital transformation, the Officer leverages AI-enabled tools, chatbot technologies, and scalable communication platforms to enhance the prospective student experience and support enrolment objectives.
Responsibilities - Administer and optimize AI-enabled engagement platforms (e.g., chatbot, WhatsApp automation), including maintaining knowledge bases and refining user interaction flows.
- Implement digital engagement tactics aligned with the College's AI and digitalization strategies to support international recruitment and conversion.
- Collaborate with the International Recruitment Conversion Manager, IT, and Marketing to support the execution and optimization of behavior-based and automated communication campaigns.
- Apply Generative AI tools to enhance communication efficiency, improve response times, and enable scalable personalization.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of automated/drip communication journeys based on student behavior and program interests.
- Monitor emerging digital trends and recommend enhancements to strengthen virtual engagement and the prospective student experience.
- Continuously monitor AI platforms and apply Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and search optimization techniques to help ensure that Centennial College and its programs are prominently and positively represented when prospective students search for college- or program-related information on widely used commercial AI platforms.
- Execute targeted follow-up and engagement activities with prospective students across all stages of the student journey (pre-admission through enrolment).
- Deliver timely, personalized communications to support conversion initiatives and improve engagement outcomes.
- Support the planning and execution of conversion events (virtual and in-person), including communications, logistics, and coordination.
- In consultation with the International Recruitment Conversion Manager, leverage diverse AI tools and techniques to maximize enrollment outcomes and support the achievement of registration KPIs through strategic conversion initiatives.
- Liaise with Marketing and Communications to ensure alignment of messaging, campaigns, and outreach materials.
- Track and maintain data related to student engagement, communications, event participation, and conversion activities.
- Analyze engagement trends and identify opportunities to improve outreach effectiveness and student participation.
- Prepare regular reports and insights to support the International Recruitment Conversion Manager in decision-making and performance monitoring.
Qualifications/Experience - 3-year diploma/degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Minimum three (3) years of related, practical experience in the following areas:
- Digital Engagement Tools: Hands-on experience using CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, or chatbot/AI-based engagement tools to support student or client communications.
- AI & Automation: Practical experience applying (or strong demonstrated ability to learn and apply) Generative AI and automation tools in customer engagement scenarios, communication workflows, and campaign delivery.
- Campaign & Communications Execution: Experience supporting or executing targeted communication campaigns, including segmented outreach, follow-ups, and engagement tracking.
- Event & Recruitment Support: Experience coordinating or supporting events, outreach activities, or recruitment initiatives, including logistics and stakeholder coordination.
- Data & Insights: Experience tracking engagement metrics and using data to inform outreach improvements and decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving tools, technologies, and priorities.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating successful digital marketing campaign workflows, automated campaigns, or data-driven student engagement initiatives.
- Professional certifications in data analytics, CRM systems and marketing automation (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM Recruit) are considered an asset.
