Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a experienced Recruiter to join our Human Resources department.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Recruitment Services and working within the established standards and strategic plans of Northern Health's Recruitment Services, the Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and engaging health care professionals for Northern Health.

Using a strong colleague/client/candidate/community relationship management (CRM) service approach, the incumbent forms a collaborative partnership with senior leaders, local governments and other community stakeholders to develop targeted recruitment initiatives for the particular community and/or profession and establishes close and productive working relationships with communities, schools, colleges, universities, and related professional associations. The Recruiter applies established practices in recruitment of professionals and adapts them as needed for successful implementation. The Recruiter is responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful selection process and onboarding of assigned professionals into the Northern Health community, applying identified practices in recruitment and onboarding and adapting them as needed for successful implementation. The incumbent maintains consistent contact with hiring managers, reviews policies and practices that affect recruitment, onboarding and retention, and recommends improvements. The Recruiter contributes to the development of regional practices through research of best practices in rural recruitment and onboarding, identifies service requirements and makes recommendations to the Regional Manager, Recruitment Services and internal recruitment partners.

Starting salary will be approximately from $76,111 to $95,138 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• An Undergraduate Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Marketing plus five (5) to seven (7) years recent recruitment experience, preferably in a large, multi-disciplined and unionized environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
• Registered Professional Recruiter designation preferred.
• Experience working with Indigenous people and communities considered an asset.
• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
