Full Job Description
What You'll Do:

You will play a key role in scaling our Fleet Operations, Commercial Strategy, and Corporate teams, while also supporting our internship and co-op hiring programs. This role will perform all duties of a full life cycle Recruiter, with the flexibility to flex into entry level technology hiring based on business need. Other job-related responsibilities include:
  • Owning full life cycle recruitment for Fleet Operations, Commercial Strategy, and Corporate roles, from sourcing and screening through offer and close, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience
  • Sourcing passive candidates for tough-to-fill and niche roles, including frontline and operations talent
  • Supporting Torc's internship and co-op programs, including sourcing, campus partnerships, and coordinating the candidate experience for early career talent
  • Partnering with hiring teams to set recruiting strategy and achieve annual hiring goals across assigned functions
  • Networking online and offline to promote our employer brand, reduce time-to-hire, and build a strong talent pipeline for current and future positions
  • Flexing into entry level technology recruiting support as business needs shift
  • Partnering with dedicated recruiting coordinators to schedule and coordinate interviews
  • Maintaining and updating all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicant tracking system
  • Consulting with hiring managers on job postings to accurately reflect role responsibilities

What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • 4+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, ideally including experience recruiting for operations, fleet, logistics, or frontline/hourly/shift roles
  • Experience supporting corporate function hiring (e.g. Finance, People, Legal, Marketing) preferred
  • Experience with internship or co-op recruiting programs a plus
  • Existing network within operations, fleet, or logistics talent communities a plus
  • Solid background using direct sourcing strategies to build pipelines, including LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with hiring managers and leaders
  • Comfortable managing a diverse requisition load across multiple functions at once
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Greenhouse preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15% for hiring events, career fairs, and building partnerships with trade schools, colleges, and community organizations that support hiring pipelines
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport for team offsites
  • Effective communication skills, with a habit of proactively keeping stakeholders informed

Work Location: For the ideal candidate, we are open to Remote based in the US. Working in a hybrid capacity at our Blacksburg, VA or Fort Worth, TX office location would be preferred. Relocation support is available.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Torc's total compensation package will also include our corporate bonus and stock option plan. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
