Full Job Description
This role is a critical member of our People & Culture team at Hallmark Media, providing a recruitment experience that aligns with Hallmark's value - Excellence in all that we do. The Recruiter serves as a trusted partner to develop effective talent acquisition strategies that focus on attracting and securing top talent and delivering a superior candidate experience. This role leads the end-to-end recruitment process, from consulting with hiring managers on a job opening, sourcing and screening candidates, guiding the interview process, to extending an offer and supporting new hire onboarding. As a collaborative team resource, the Recruiter works in close partnership with HR, Finance, Technology, Internal Communications, and Office Administration as well as enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition team members. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Employee Experience at Hallmark Media.

The salary range for this job is between $78,900-$105,100. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for full-time and temporary roles up to VP level
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of Hallmark Media's culture and brand, effectively communicating employee experience and development opportunities to candidates
  • Consult hiring managers and interviewers to establish effective, inclusive recruitment strategies and engaging candidate experiences
  • Deliver consistent communications and recruiting updates to internal stakeholders
  • Support Talent & Employee Experience Coordinator's day-to-day recruitment-related tasks
  • Source for a broad range of roles and maintain relationships with external recruiting organizations, such as industry, collegiate, and agency partnerships
  • Lead intern recruiting and alumni program relations and collaborate with HR to deliver a successful intern program and experience
  • Track relevant recruitment metrics (e.g. cost per hire, time to fill, candidate survey feedback)
  • Partner with HR to deliver hiring data and reporting that follows federal and local requirements
  • Manage administration of technology solutions such as open requisition, applicant tracking, and temporary worker systems
  • Maintain the integrity of recruitment workflows within technology solutions and provide guidance to Technology partners on how to enhance usability and functionality


BASIC REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related professional work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • Experience as a full-cycle recruiter in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and executing effective recruitment strategies
  • Demonstrated client management experience and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, working independently and as a team player


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience recruiting in the media/entertainment industry
  • Experience recruiting VP level positions
  • Experience working with UKG and LinkedIn Talent Solutions
  • In-depth understanding of employment laws and HR policies and practices
  • Familiarity with the Hallmark brand and consumers of our products and services


This is a hybrid role based out of our Burbank, CA office. Occasional travel to U.S.-based Hallmark offices may be required.
