POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Afognak Native Corporation has an opportunity for a
Human Resources Corporate Recruiter based at our corporate office in Anchorage, AK. The Corporate Human Resources Recruiter will collaborate with Liquor Stores USA North, Inc (LSUN) management on a regular basis to proactively fill open vacancies and identify future hiring needs. Additionally, the Recruiter will ensure that the company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
- Operates with a high degree of independence while partnering closely with hiring managers and the Sr. HRBP to achieve recruiting objectives.
- May provide guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced recruiters.
- Manage full life cycle recruiting process from candidate identification, screening, interviewing, and job offer
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs.
- Assist hiring managers by performing phone pre-screens and scheduling interviews.
- Conduct interview in coordination with store managers
- Provide status updates to all parties throughout the recruiting process
- Establish recruiting strategy for each open position and overall staffing initiatives.
- Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with government regulations.
- Assist Managers with developing and updating job descriptions.
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
- Build and maintain networks to find qualified active and passive candidates.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
- Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning and maintain appropriate staffing levels across assigned locations.
- Use applicant tracking systems to track applicants through the selection phase through on-boarding.
- Manage the company's outreach program
- Represent the company at job fairs as necessary.
- Support new hire orientation activities, as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment and selection process
- Peforms other duties as assigned.
Payrate: $74,672 to $93,340 Annually
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Education:- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, human resources or related field.
Required Experience:- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; corporate and multi-location recruiting experience.
Other Required Qualifications or Skills:- Prior experience recruiting in a multi-location, retail environment.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff.
- Understanding of the recruitment lifecycle processes.
- Experience with recruiting metrics and reporting.
- Experience leveraging social media platforms and digital sourcing tools for recruitment.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office and in-depth knowledge of internet research and mining candidates.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
Preferred Qualifications or Skills:- Experience with government contracting.
- Prior staffing agency recruiting experience is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, store managers, and senior leadership.
- Sound judgement and the ability to objectively evaluate candidates.
- Experience supporting high-volume and exempt/non-exempt recruiting.
- Experience using candidate sourcing platforms.
- Knowledge of employment law and recruiting best practices.
The pay range information provided is a general guideline. The pay rate offered will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as geographic locations, market data, and other business considerations, as permitted by law.
