The Recruiter is responsible for the full cycle consultative recruitment of non-exempt and exempt positions throughout the Institute. The Recruiter functions independently, exercises sound judgment and utilizes critical thinking to resolve the most complex and difficult scenarios with minimal assistance.
- Develop strong working relationships with hiring managers
- Use comprehensive data to develop recruiting strategies
- Research and recommend sources for active and passive recruitment
- Use social networking and professional sites to source candidates
- Generate applicant pools, screen, assess, and interview applicants
- Check references and evaluate for suitability
- Provide recommendation for selection of hires
- Determine and negotiate salary offers
- Partner with local colleges to promote appropriate opportunities
- Consistently communicate the status of open positions with hiring managers
- Advise hiring managers of compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Partner with HR Business Partners to resolve complex hiring issues
- Maintain an organized system for maintenance of all position and applicant files
- Maintain accurate information of sourcing activity, and resources of current and for future recruitment activity
- Identify possible solutions to complex issues
- Other duties as required
The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
$85,400.00 - $95,800.00
