As our Reconstruction Operations Manager (ROM), you'll work directly with our Chief Operating Officer to develop people, strengthen operations, expand our subcontractor network, and create scalable systems that support long-term growth. What You'll Do

As the Reconstruction Operations Manager, you will lead the overall performance and growth of our Reconstruction Division by:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Reconstruction Project Managers
  • Overseeing reconstruction projects from mitigation handoff through final completion
  • Reviewing project schedules, production timelines, and Work-in-Progress (WIP)
  • Improving operational consistency, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensuring outstanding customer communication and service throughout every project
  • Reviewing estimates for accuracy, profitability, and completeness
  • Monitoring job costing, gross profit, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing network of subcontractor partners
  • Strengthening collaboration between Reconstruction, Mitigation, Contents, Sales, Estimating, and Accounting
  • Driving continuous improvement through technology, operational efficiencies, and scalable systems

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction, reconstruction, restoration, or construction management
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial reconstruction
  • Experience managing subcontractor-driven construction projects
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial acumen, including job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management
  • Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • General Contractor License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Xactimate experience
  • DocuSketch experience (or willingness to learn)
  • SERVPRO or insurance restoration experience
  • Large commercial loss experience
  • IICRC Certifications

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to occasionally climb ladders and navigate active construction or restoration sites.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
