What you'll do...
Role summary:
The (USA) Realty Project Coach is responsible for overseeing the execution of realty projects by managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder collaboration. This role directs associates and vendors to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and aligns project plans with corporate strategies. The position involves coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring budgets, and resolving construction and operational issues to support facility goals. The Realty Project Coach fosters accountability, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with company standards while maintaining clear communication and promoting effective project outcomes.

The Realty Project team leads the execution of remodels and capital projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals. This team collaborates across functions, managing project timelines, vendor relationships, and resource allocation to deliver efficient and cost-effective results. Members demonstrate strong project management, communication, and adaptability skills while guiding associates and stakeholders through each phase. The team prioritizes accountability and continuous improvement, fostering a professional environment focused on operational excellence and successful project outcomes that support the broader objectives of the Walmart Group of Companies.
What you'll do:

  • Communicate project plans and progress to key stakeholders, directing associates and vendors on processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with facility management and contractors to minimize operational impact and ensure milestone achievement.
  • Oversee fixture procurement, merchandise placement, and installation to meet company standards and safety requirements.
  • Monitor budgets, assess project impacts, and develop cost-effective, sustainable schedules.
  • Lead and develop associates through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise in managing complex realty projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and adherence to scope.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience directing associates, vendors, and cross-functional teams including engineers and architects.
  • Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and convey project plans and updates.
  • Demonstrated accountability in monitoring budgets, schedules, and project milestones to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve construction and operational issues while maintaining compliance with company policies.
  • Adaptability to evolving project demands and commitment to continuous improvement and team development.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 1 year's experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years' experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
All associates in role January 1, 2021 or after will need to sign an updated JD including the above language (but will not be impacted).
