Salary range: $300K - $400K
About this role

We are looking for a Real Estate Transactions Partner with 8+ years of experience to join a well-established 45-attorney firm handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions for high-end clients - including those who previously used AmLaw 100 firms like Gibson Dunn. This is a non-equity partner role with a clear, transparent path to equity (where partners earn seven figures) at a firm that values breadth, substance, and entrepreneurial drive.

What will you be doing?
  • Leading complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development deals (think $200M+ transactions)
  • Drafting and negotiating purchase/sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, joint venture agreements, and development agreements
  • Managing transactions from inception through closing - including due diligence, title review, entity structuring, and coordinating with lenders and counterparties
  • Building and developing client relationships with the goal of growing your own book of business over time
  • Collaborating in-office with partners and associates to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm culture

Key Requirements
  • Broad real estate transactional experience - not just one niche (must have touched acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development)
  • Sophistication of matters handled - high-value commercial real estate deals, not just residential or small transactions
  • Willing to work in-office 4 days per week at the firm's Los Angeles location
  • Active California bar membership with impeccable writing (typos or grammatical errors are fatal)
  • Substantive depth - must be able to answer detailed questions about your actual work product without deflecting
