The Opportunity

The Real Estate Transaction Manager leads complex global real estate transactions from strategy and analysis through negotiation, approvals, execution, and closeout. This role serves as a transaction advisor to business leaders, partnering with internal stakeholders, external brokers, legal, finance, and facilities teams to deliver real estate solutions that support business objectives, portfolio optimization, and long-term workplace strategy. The position requires strong commercial real estate expertise, executive-level communication, financial analysis capability, and the ability to independently manage high-impact transactions with appropriate governance and risk mitigation. This role reports to the Director of Real Estate Transactions and Brokerage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex global real estate transactions, including market strategy, site selection, financial analysis, lease negotiation support, AFE/approval routing, governance, execution, and closeout.
  • Drive acquisitions, dispositions, renewals, expansions, consolidations, relocations, and leasing activities; evaluate business requirements, financial impacts, key dates, options, and risks to develop recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and secure office and site locations in priority markets.
  • Ensure transaction governance, corporate oversight, risk review, approvals, documentation, and administrative requirements are completed accurately and timely for each transaction.
  • Proactively monitor the real estate portfolio and lead transaction planning for renewals, extensions, expansions, contractions, terminations, consolidations, and other strategic portfolio actions.
  • Translate corporate real estate strategy, business objectives, market intelligence, financial considerations, and workplace priorities into practical transaction recommendations.
  • Manage and influence external broker partners, landlords, consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality transaction outcomes aligned with overall real estate objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in design, real estate, construction management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate, or related field
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, construction management, architecture/design, or a related field; advanced degree, professional certification, or commercial real estate designation preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive commercial real estate transactions, corporate real estate, brokerage, portfolio management, or related experience, with demonstrated responsibility for complex transactions and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Advanced business acumen with the ability to translate complex business needs, market conditions, cost implications, and risk factors into actionable real estate solutions.
  • Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and gain alignment across senior leaders, functional partners, regions, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated negotiation experience and ability to support or lead complex commercial lease and real estate deal structures.
  • Strong financial and analytical capability, including lease economics, total occupancy cost, business case development, budgets, forecasts, and scenario modeling.
  • Highly collaborative and proactive, with disciplined project management, clear stakeholder communication, and the ability to drive decisions in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to independently manage ambiguity, confidential information, competing priorities, and multiple concurrent transactions while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness during periods of high work volume.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, environmental considerations, workplace strategy, and operational impacts related to real estate and portfolio decisions.
