We are looking for a
Raw Material Buyer to join our teamThis position will be based in
Grand Prairie, TX. You'll make an impact by: - Coordinating and balancing supply and demand with suppliers and operations
- Managing MRP via SAP, place Purchase Orders with internal and external vendors, managing and executing exception messages to pull in or move out orders
- Reviewing SAP master data including, but not limited to, minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, purchasing info records and providing forecasting as needed, etc.
- Evaluating the current supply chain and improving it by working with our corporate resources
- Analyzing large amounts of data to develop sourcing strategies by component and supplier
- Meeting the inventory targets, delivery reliability and cost saving initiatives for the site
- Researching and analyzing current and future demand to develop forecast when needed
- Managing and clearing GRIR (good receipts/invoice receipts) discrepancies and late purchase order processing
- Working closely with planning, manufacturing, and procurement to plan and prioritize supply to fulfill customer requirements on time and ensure maximum performance, considering multiple factory's requirements and financial goals
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels for raw material, working closely with materials/inventory management teams
- Monitoring Suppliers' performance and working with them, with the support of corporate teams, to achieve continuous improvements in costs and performance
- Supporting and attending raw material quarter counts
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree; candidates with varying degrees will also be considered based on experience OR a combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered in lieu of a BS degree
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience with MRP system in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced hands-on knowledge of SAP
- Expertise in APICS CSCP and/or CPIM

The pay range for this position is $60,333 - $103,428 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
